Privacy Policy
This policy explains the information ScreenToast handles when hosts create events and guests share moments.
Effective September 8, 2026
Information we collect
We collect host account information such as an email address, event details and settings, and support messages. Guest submissions may include a display name, message, caption, photo, and technical information needed to receive and secure the submission.
Payments are processed by Stripe. ScreenToast receives transaction status and related identifiers, but does not store full payment-card numbers.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate hosts, operate event pages and The Wall, screen guest submissions, fulfill purchased plans, provide support, prevent misuse, and comply with applicable obligations.
Automated content screening
Guest names, messages, captions, and photos may be checked by automated moderation services before they appear. Automated screening can make mistakes. Hosts can review and remove event content, and ScreenToast may block or remove content that appears unsafe or violates our Terms.
Service providers and links
We use service providers to host the application and data, process payments, and screen content, including Vercel, Supabase, Stripe, and OpenAI or similar moderation providers. They process information only for the services they provide to us and under their own applicable terms.
Gift, registry, or payment links chosen by a host take guests to third-party services. ScreenToast does not receive or process gifts completed there, and those services have their own privacy practices.
Retention and deletion
Event-content availability follows the purchased plan: generally seven days after an event with the Essential Package, 30 days with the Plus Package, or up to one year with the Complete Package or an eligible Keepsake Gallery. Limited records may be kept longer when reasonably needed for security, support, accounting, or legal compliance.
Hosts may request deletion or ask a privacy question by emailing celebrations@screentoast.tv. Guests should identify the event and submission so we can locate it.
Your responsibilities and choices
Hosts are responsible for inviting guests appropriately and obtaining any permissions required for event photos or information, especially for events involving minors. Do not submit sensitive personal information that is not needed for the celebration.
Security and updates
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can promise absolute security. We may update this policy as ScreenToast changes; the effective date above will identify the current version.
For service rules, see our Terms of Service.
